do you wanna wind up in a graveyard... * 2003-02-278:37 a.m. i heart ok go! they are my new favorite band. weeee! had fun at the donnas last night, until the donnas came on. tim and i kept singing "take it off" to all their songs, because, dude, let's face it, they all sound the same. or, they sound like "danger zone" from "top gun" or "detroit rock city." it was very strange being taller/older than everyone. and rooney! jesus h. christ. i thought i was going to get arrested for looking at them. i just kind of rocked out and looked away. lots of kids w/their parents. i wonder if ok go will bee at coachella. they got seriously heckled though. people are so psycho, yelling "go away!" and "you fucking suck, get off the stage." i think more bands should get heckled really, and possibly some tomato throwing, but not ok go. they were great. they did this one song that was not like any of their other songs "this is not the sound of a train," and had some dude come out and freestyle, had a lot of keyboard...and bouncing. i loved it. and the ping pong boy pictured above was hot. reminded me a lot of rhett. over dinner at izumiya, we were talking about white guys with asian fetishes, and asian girls with whiteboy fetishes. ask me about objectification! i think it's more than chance, if you don't find someone that looks like you beautiful. i'm not saying it's wrong or right to prefer a certain race, but i definitely think it's socially constructed and worth looking at. having said that, can an asian girl have an asian girl fetish? can you fetishize something you are a part of? what is the difference between fetishization and objectification? oliver saria (hardly verbatim): if you're a white guy and your last three girlfriends' names are noriko, shishi and sherrrr, then chances are, ya probably got an asian fetish! then again, if you're an asian girl and you're last three boyfriends' names are chuck, brett, and spencer, then you might have a problem too! i love oliver, he's hilarious. tim and i ran into him on the japantown bridge too. guess there was somethin poppin at locus. everyone we stopped and talked to assumed we were going to the anime thing instead of the donnas. i got all flustered when we saw oliver. i'm a dork. i got all giggly. what's new? kieran just came back from ireland with his students. i missed his photo exhibit at borders, but i'm sure he'll be doing more stuff...he's hot too. something about irish and italian men... this is not the sound of a train, ok go * nostalgia d'jour * my first old 97s show * wish d'jour * i'm gonna wish real hard that someone calls me and asks me to go to the parkway tonight...let's see if it works... bout to give this girl a shout >>back in the day>> "i don't want the world, i just want your half..." >>>leave your mark on me / [?uestbook]>>> * me love you long time *
