* 2004-04-165:02 p.m. robert and i had a beautiful birthday together. he met me at work and we shared an ice cream brownie cake i made him and then headed over to acme by sbc park and had guinness. he always drinks half of mine cause i can't finish. we watched barry bonds break mays' record. then we sat outside across mccovey cove and watched a really amazing fireworks display...we also had a bbq, family dinner, night of shots (him taking me taking pictures) at gordon biersch. last night we finally exchanged gifts. i can't believe our 18th birthday was 8 years ago. our parents threw us this huge party at the local elk's lodge. it was a big deal. and went by fast. it's almost been a year that we've been together but it seems really strange that two kids who ment in ccd when they were 10 end up together 15 years later. life is strange that way. in other news, there has been a delay in getting acceptance letters out so i still don't know if i'll be a student in fall. sheesh. i am dying here! i remember the days where i didn't spend all my time, at least 10 hours a day, spelunking the wonders of my computer...all in the name of "education" or some strange monster its spawned called "assessment." girls night out tomorrow. wot.
