do you wanna wind up in a graveyard... * 2004-09-2710:59 a.m. THE STORY OF OUR SUPERMAN, DANNY
Danny was born to Sylvia and Menardo Macapinlac on January 5th, 1970 in Portsmouth, Virginia. He spent most of his childhood on the sandy beaches of Hawaii and playing peanut league T-Ball. By the time he moved to California, he was the big brother to three younger sisters. In Pittsburg, his passion for baseball grew, catching for the Pittsburg High School Pirates as an MVP All-League player.
During his time in Pittsburg, baseball brought Danny to his best friend, the woman of his life, his partner through all times good and bad, Robbie Narez. After graduating from Pittsburg High School in 1988 Danny left for Cal Poly San Luis Obispo to pursue a degree in Business, which he worked very hard for and achieved while keeping a long distance relationship with Robbie. The high school sweethearts married in 1994 and moved to Concord. In the next years, Danny was very successful working in San Ramon with California Financial Advisors as a Certified Financial Advisor. He spent a lot of time traveling and creating a beautiful home for his family with Robbie, golfing and rooting for the San Francisco Giants.
Danny and Robbie’s eagerly anticipated first child, Gabrielle Maria, was born on January 26th, 2000. Danny always loved to shower her with his love and affection. In May 2001, together Danny and Robbie weathered the storm of losing their second daughter, Grace Narez, when she became their little angel. In August 24th 2002, they were blessed with their third daughter, Isabella Danielle, whom he lovingly referred to as “feisty.” Danny enjoyed making breakfast for his girls, taking them to the park and Pixie Playland, tucking them in at night, reading them stories, taking them on trips to Hawaii and Disneyland and teaching them the ways of life by being a wonderful and loving daddy.
During Danny’s unbelievable fight against cancer, he spent every moment living life to the fullest, and sharing in love with his wife and all those around him. Danny was a man of amazing faith, a beautiful person, a good man, a hard worker, a loving father, husband, brother, son, uncle, godfather, cousin and friend to many. Today we celebrate the life of this man and give thanks for the places we were blessed to have walked with him on the journey to his new home. We are all better people because of Danny Macapinlac.
Superman (It's Not Easy)
I can’t stand to fly
I’m more than a bird…I’m more than a plane
Wish that I could cry
It may sound absurd…but don’t be naive
Up, up and away…away from me
I can’t stand to fly
I’m only a man in a silly red sheet
It’s not easy to be me
see you later, kuya...thanks for being you... three little birds, bob marley * nostalgia d'jour * my brother's voice * wish d'jour * strength for all bout to give this girl a shout >>back in the day>> "i don't want the world, i just want your half..." >>>leave your mark on me / [?uestbook]>>> * me love you long time *
